The event was run under Addendum Q with direct judging throughout. World Sailing permitted a change to Addendum Q to permit redress (RRS 62.1(b) and (d)) in the qualifying series only. The Star Class Association gave permission to change class rules to permit kinetics in winds greater than 6 knots, and permitted the use of stays, sheets or lines to support the body of skipper or crew. Four jury boats gave good coverage for 25 boats in the qualifying series. - CANAB17
