THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The competitors, even juniors, did sail in a proper way, and very few infringements to rule 42 has been observed. Some hearings with junior sailors of latin mother tongue did require the presence of translators, because of their poor knowledge of english language. Information came to the ears of the jury about breaches of good manners made by a coach and some competitors, but the cases has been solved in a friendly way by the parties involved on, without lodging any formal report.
The race has been perfectly managed by the RC. Except on the third racing day, on which the wind too weak and the rain forced the RC to postpone the race ashore for the full day, the races has been sailed with a wind from 6 to 18 knots, complying the target time of 60 minutes and only one race shortened. 12 races of a total of 14 race scheduled has been sailed, allowing the competitors to be scored with two discards. Friendly relationships between the RC, the Jury and the Measurers .
