Some issues came from the language problem for Chinese sailors who did not read or did not understand SI Amendments on the Board. As the results there were many protests and req for redresses for not rounding the marks correctly. The SI has been translated into Chinese but not the Amendments.
The jury used whistle system trying to inform boats that broke the rule but it was not successful.
