There were some problems by local sailors, who were used to enter the event by the Hungarian Sailing Federation Regulations, which did not apply on this event. A lot of paper work with crew changes during the event.
There were 30 degrees on the sunny measuring day, following by three freezing and rainy days. Race Committee did a good job on very hard and shifty lake conditions. On the last day, the Jury gave the permission to sail alternative coastal course because it was not possible to set up the windward-leeward course in shifty conditions.
