An optional, anchored, inner distance mark was specified in the sailing instructions. The rules applying at a mark of this type are not clear, and a Q&A will be raised on the subject. In the event the mark was not laid so there were no problems.
After the final race there was a complaint from one boat that another had sailed up to it and that sailors on it used obscene language and made gestures in reference to the complainant. The sailors from the accused boat were not available for any investigation, and reports will be made to their MNAs.
