Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
Some questions and problems about meanings and the relationship between categories and appendices in the Offshore Special Regulations came up, but were solved and answered with the help off the chairman and the vice-chairman of the Offshore Special Regulations Sub-Committee. Some "fine-tuning" of the Standard NoR and the Standard SI of ORC championships were agreed with the ORC representatives.
Some "unusual" measurement protests could be decided with the help of the Measurement Committee.
The jury reopened one case as for the first decision an older ISAF guideline for discretionary penalties was used, later the latest World Sailing guideline was found. The jury noted, that equal to some other documents, it is pretty difficult to find the correct document. It is strongly recommended that World Sailing executes its due dilligence on this issue.
