The international jury received a written report from the hotel of damage in a room that was occupied by competitors in the regatta. The matter was investigated by a member of the organizing authority, a member of the IODA and the sixth jury member. This left an intact international jury of 5 people to consider the outcome of the investigation and have a hearing under RRS 69, if necessary. In this case, with the competitors? apology and payment for damages the jury decided to take no further action, and closed the matter.
