THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The event was brilliantly organised, all logistics were taken care of, the jury boats were good, the jury secretary was excellent, the hearing rooms were excellent with the exception that when the main stage was being used, the music was very loud in the hearing room.

Every day a member of the jury ran a development clinic on a topic. Through the week we had, judging philosophy of rule 42, regulation 35 and rule 69, rule 2 and what is sportsmanship, new WS cases and Appendix T.

I was surprised that WS was not using manage2sail for the event and so we had to revert to a link to juryboard on the website. It would be sensible for WS to use manage2sail in the future.

The relationship with the RM team was excellent. All races were run to programme. The only request for redress was for failure of supplied equipment.

One of the team leaders asked about the suitability of arbitration for the event in the future. This conversation has been relayed to the TD and the Chair of the Youth Events Subcommittee for consideration. - GBRAB120
