The decision to remove the protest flag requirement from the SI's did not have any apparent effect on protests and hearings. It was well received by the Jury as it simplifies the procedure.
The decision to remove the "whistle rule" from the SI's may have resulted in two Jury-initiated hearings for mark touches, which may have been avoided altogether in the older system.
A team leader reported an incident of verbal and physical aggression between sailors on the same team, while not racing. The Jury had an informal conversation with the sailors but no further action was taken under the rules.
