THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
Event was schedules as an event for Olympic Classes but due to few entries it was decided to run the event for the Techno 293 class, as the Al Junior High School Championship 2012 and All Japan High School Championship 2012.
During the event, mornings and afternoon, the protest committee gave a rules seminar for the sailors, something that was very popular. All sailors attended all sessions. The jury chair was leading the seminar, and the Japanese members of the protest committee did an excellent job in translating everything.

Rules compliance clearly increased during the event!
For the first time the sailors were introduced to a windward-leeward course with a slalom finish, however, during those races the wind was a bit light.

Race committee did a good job in adjusting the courses and we had a very good working relationship with the RC as well as the OA.
