With the exception of the laser course the race management for the Event was conducted in an efficient manner. The Race Committee on the laser course had considerable problems in identifing finishing boats own to the size of the fleet this resulted in 24 requests for redress been submitted to the International Jury by boats that had been scored either DNC or out of their correct finishing position, all 24 requests for redress were subsequently upheld by the Jury
