THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
One of the bigger events for youth classes in Europe; good venue for an event of this size. The accommodation for the race officials was below the standard that can be expected by IJ's/IRO's. The OA was informed about the problem and the fact that this is not acceptable.
Race management on some of the race courses was not always in accordance with the WS Race Management Policies, this is something that should be improved in the future. The event was a selection event for the Youth Worlds 2019 in Gdynia for some nations. This led to several incidents between boats of the same country with the potential of becoming RRS 69 issues. Two RRS 69 hearings because sailors used offensive language towards members of the jury after being penalized for breaches of RRS 42. - GERFM4 & GERTH8
