THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
This was the first world championship of Formula Kite as an olympic class. There were several hearings, mainly concerning sailors in the silver and bronze fleets. It seems that the incidents are reducing as the skills are increasing.
For the gold fleet and the medal series races, the protest committee had live access to all the video feeds being available and was able to record them. We were able to identify, record and have an opinion about several incidents, however none of them led to a protest.
Parallel to the event, the Kiteboarding Rules Working Party made the final test of the medal series documents and the protest committee operation manual, which are now ready to be released.

NOTE:
The approved format for olympic kiteboarding is an opening series and a medal series that includes semifinals and finals. This is different than the medal race of the other olympic classes and addendum Q or appendix UF are not appropriate.
Other events wishing to run the olympic format medal series, please contact the IKA and ask for the description of the format and the documents. The process for making the documents official and publishing on the World Sailing is also underway. - GREMP
