THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
A very well organised & executed event. A form of on-water fleet umpiring exists in the Melges 24 class, and as a result 9 red flags were given on the water (vs 3 green flags). Most unresolved protests reported to RC after races did not get submitted. Good cohesion and teamwork from all members of the jury, with excellent integration with the OA and RC team. Fair racing and intelligent race management resulted in 9 of 10 races being completed; with some early morning starts. A member of the jury confirmed positive Covid the night before the event and was replaced with a judge acting remotely for hearings. - RSALS2
