THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The jury sought clarification from (ISCYRA) under 64.4(b) concerning the application of STCR (ISCYRA) 34.3.1 in regard to a request for redress against the race committee. The NoR and SI were silent as to the STCR (ISCYRA) Format designation of the event, noting SI 7.2 7 races, per STCR (ISCYRA) 27, are scheduled. No more than 3 races per day may be sailed. Tom Londrigran, International Star Class President, provided comment that he believed the South American Championship was being sailed under STCR (ISCYRA) Format C given a 25 boat fleet. Further commenting, under STCR (ISCYRA) Format C, the course leg can be from 1 nm to 1.5 nm. - USACB5
