THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The event was definitely challenging, with long days on the water dragging into long nights ashore; anyhow, the traditional freezing weather did not show up and actually the first days suffered for a lack of wind.
The jury facilities were perfect (private rooms with bathrooms, nice ribs, plenty of space for meetings and full dinner served every night) - kudos for the OA for taking the event to a nice normal level on this.
Seven NJs sought a reference, and we had classes on the first days on Appendix B, scribing, and a detailed visit to the boat park with sailors and coaches explaining the problematic bits of the less-known classes.
There was a rule 69 hearing against a competitor which ended in two DNEs and a report to their MNA.
