Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
Suprisingly, we did not get the promised foul weather.
Some coaches still did not get the mandatory PFD/kill cord requirement, and we had to initiate several procedures for this; small penalties were inflicted on the connected boats rather than keeping the coaches ashore (the SIs changed the RRS on this aspect).
There was a massive 40 boats hearing in the J/70 fleet regarding the sailors categorization grouping, that ended up in one boat being disqualified and all the others penalized with one point in each race; the sailor portal is still not fully functional, with several sailors unable to login or reset their password. Anyhow WS office provided an awesome support for this, and we managed to sort everything out.
Again, we had another rule 69 hearing - this time against a support person - that ended up with a report to their MNA.
