THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
• At the beginning of the event, a member of the jury disclosed that he had a conflict of interest which was found to be significant. World Sailing revoked his appointment as under rule 63.4(b) he could not be a member of the protest committee for a World Sailing major event. • The EDIO for the event carried out several investigations on reports under RRS 69.2 and Regulation 35. The jury held three hearings under rule 69. • Kiteboarding Medal Series were umpired remotely from a booth where the umpires followed the race with the help of drones. The system worked well and is ready to be implemented in the Paris 2024 Olympic Regatta. - URUMS1
