Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The first day was characterized by light northerly winds that allowed RC to complete 3 races on the optimist course and 3 on the ILCA course. On the second- and third-day wind strength increased up to 30 knots resulting in big rolling waves crushing in Mellieha bay. This prevented for RIBs and boats to be launched safely. Kudos to the AO for organizing various activities to keep sailors entertained. On the last day of the event, the lower wind intensity allowed RC to complete the whole day program. Arbitration was only available for ILCA sailors, but not suitable hearing requests came through. - ITAGG112
