This championship was very well managed, both on the water and ashore. All 9 of the scheduled races were completed. Rule adherence was good, with boats promptly taking penalties in all but one of the incidents observed by the judges.
In the final race there was an intense match race between the two leading contenders for the title, well conducted by both boats until the final run when there was contact between them with minor damage to one boat. In the ensuing hearing video evidence recorded by the jury on the water played a pivotal role in unpacking exactly what had happened. - RSADH7
