This 555 nautical mile race from Istanbul to Göcek, rounding four Agean/Mediterranean islands, was efficiently conducted. The longer course than in last year’s race was well received. It was deliberately left to the competitors to protest boats breaking the traffic separation zone rules, but the OA is considering making these breaches subject to race committee action in next year’s edition of this race. - RSADH7
