THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The event was run with excellent racing conditions and was very well managed afloat by the Race committee : 5 fleets were racing on 1 area (1 U17, 3 U15 and 1 U12), with 3 different loops (inner, middle and outside) and finish lines at different levels downwind of the course. It worked perfectly.
Very good organisation from the OA.
8 umpires officiated under Appendix UF (with an additional requirement for "freestyle" on the top reach).
According to the class rules, Oscar was displayed most of the time to alter RRS42.

Around 400 flags were given for the whole event :
20% : RRS 42 : sculling at the start or Pumping on the windward leg,
65% : Part 2 rule incidents often associated to breaches of RRS31
15% : Not executing correctly the « freestyle » maneuver on the reach.

Some requests for redress were lodged after problems with charter boats leaking. This year, the OA explicitly wrote in the nOR that the charter company was not part of the OA. Therefore, no redress was available.
