The event was generally well organized by the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki. With races in light and in strong wind conditions held in the mornings and afternoons the sailors experienced a good mix of conditions.
Sailors in the 420 class are not used to Appendix T which led to the situation that the opinion of the arbitrator was not accepted and the outcome of the hearing reflected the arbitrators opinion.
With 7 fleets on 2 race areas the number of jury members (9) was not sufficient to deliver a proper service on the water (the expected tenth jury member was assigned to race committee tasks and therefore not available).
Four boats were provided of which one was close to being a danger for the jury members themselves, one was close to being useless and the other two boats were usable. - GERTH8
