THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
Most cases between boards involved either physical damage or capsize, therefore redress was requested and granted in most of the cases. There were some incidents between boards while racing and wingfoils that were not racing. It was unclear to the International Jury which rules apply in the lake. In the end, the International Jury understood that there are Government right of way rules that apply in the lake, and applied those to determine who was at fault. Even though Appendix T applies, it is not helpful as competitors are asking redress and a hearing should be held to consider redress. On the last day of the event, a rule 69 hearing was held ending up issuing a warning to the competitor. - GRESK14
