Event was a long distance race on provided Beneteau First 40s. The start was in Qingdao, China, with the first leg to Vladivostok in Russia, then Pohang, South Korea, Mokpo South Korea and finishing back in Qingdao.
Due to an approaching typhoon, the first leg was shortened at a gate mark, boats moored in the marina while it past and then transited to Vladivostok. The scheduled third short leg had a forecast of no wind for several days so was changed to a transit leg where boats motored to Mokpo.
One welcome addition to this year's event was an all female team comprised of sailors from two countries.
There were media inport races held at each stopover.
Three judges travelled to the stopovers, while others joined via zoom for hearings.
An event extremely well run with strong support from each of the stopover cities.
