Wind conditions ranged from almost nothing (one day ) to 40 Knot gusts (on the passage race) the RO set excellent fair courses in perfect sailing conditions on the other days. On the water judging was used with a modified appendix format, using three judge boats on the trapezoidal course. 15 on the calls were made, all were accepted by the competitors representing a reduction in hearings of 50%
Arbitration was also used with 2 out of 3 arbitrator opinions accepted - HKGTS1
