The event had a National Jury approved by Yachting Australia so all competitors were advised that there was no appeal from the Juries decisions.
Excellent race management controlling 28 various classes in a very restricted area.
Two years ago when Audi was the principal sponsor for the event,and the winner was to receive a motor car there was 30 protests on the first day of racing. This year with no major prize there were only 6 protests for the whole of the regatta.
