THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
A rule 42 issue, jury found a new technic that optimist sailors have one forceful sculling while tacking in light condition that caused discussion among the juries. The decision was that there was no infringement of the rule 42.2(d) because this did not propelled the boat anyway.
There are 5 racing areas. Some racing area did not follow the standard practice of the ISAF Race Management Policy very well like the blue and orange flags at the finish and start. Strong current is always a challenge for start control.
