This is the first time for this event that the SI has included Arbitration. We had one hearing that fit for Arbitration but unfortunately the protestee did not show up so we ended up with normal hearing.

There was an interesting case on starting procedure. The race officer wrongly signaled the warning signal. The error was less than 10 seconds but he signaled the 4 min, 1 min and 0 min correctly. One sailor set his watch using the warning signal so he started about 9 second late and he asked for request for redress. The request was denied.
After so many years of this event in Singapore, this was the first time that there was good wind during the event so all classes were able to finish all races as scheduled.
