THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
Rule 44.1 were changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty was replaced by the One-Turn Penalty. Appendix P applied during the event except that P2.3 was deleted and P2.2 applied for second and subsequent penalties. In addition the jury were on-the-water and penalized boats for breaking class rule C3.3 ?crew positioning? and class rule C9.3 ?bowsprit use?.
A class rule states : ?RRS 42.3(c) is modified to allow the gennaker sheet to be played without restriction.? Before the first day of racing, the jury talked with the class representative about an interpretation of this rule. The jury posted a Q&A in order to clarify the meaning of ?played? and ?without restriction?. This class rule allows a boat to pump the gennaker in order to promote surfing or planing and to continue to do so once the boat is already surfing or planing.
An optional class rule which applied during the event states : ?Individual support or coach boats shall not have contact of any nature,..., with a registered racing boat from the time the boat leaves its dock or mooring each day until the boat has finished racing for the day.? Two boats were penalized under this rule for contact between 2 races on the first racing day (DPI).

Race committee performed excellently in managing 10 scheduled races in very good weather conditions for racing.
