THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The event was preceded by a 3 day rule 42 clinic organised by the International Finn Class Association. 14 of the 30 competitors attended. This proved very valuable as all but one day racing was in sub Oscar conditions. Establishing a common understanding of the application of rule 42 really helped to make a successful event.
A sailing instruction was introduced to permit voluntary penalties to be delayed when they would otherwise have been required to be taken on the leg between the windward mark and the offset mark. This trial was well received and will be standard for future Finn Class events.

The Jury worked well with the Race Management team headed by Maria Torrijo Moll. This was particularly valuable in marginal Oscar conditions to help the race team make good decisions.
