THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The event was sailed under Addendum Q. Direct judging of the 25 boats in the qualifying series was with four jury boats, providing good coverage of the fleet. Three jury boats provided good coverage for the quarter-finals of 8 boats, the semi-finals of 6 boats, and two jury boats for the finals of 4 boats. With World Sailing’s permission, Addendum Q was changed to permit redress under rule 62.2 (b) and (d) for the qualifying series. The time limit for a request was extended for boat that was unable to sail to the RC vessel before or during the bravo flag period.
