THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
I was called the day before the event started and asked if I could be the Chairman of the Jury. When I arrived at the venue, I found out I was the only member of the Jury. I found 2 Polish IJ's that joined the Jury and we had 2 IJ standby on Skype in case a sailor wanted a full Jury. All sailors was informed first thing in the hearing, that they could have a full hearing if they wanted. No one wanted the full Jury. The organizer was the owner of the Camping Site where the venue took place. He has never organized any sailing event before and the result was very poor. All race officials did an excellent job, so the sailors did not experience the bad organization. All race officers had the feeling that we would like not to have the event, but that would only hit the sailors and we did not want that. Therefore we all did what we could under the circumstances. Many of the sailors where very young. - DENJW2
