One hearing concerned a protest submitted by the Race Committee against a single competitor relating to measurement and boat launch deficiencies required in the Class Rules and SI registration completion procedures. This protest required a sorting out of timeline reliant testimony from the Race Committee-Measurer and the competitor. The SIs stated that a discretionary penalty may be pursued by the Jury relating to this matter and a 10% scoring penalty was assessed to the protested competitor's first race result.
One jury member was admitted to hospital prior to the second day of racing. The jury remained properly constituted under Appendix N1.5
