THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
The sailing was very close and we unfortunately had a protest in the last race that decided the championship. The good news was that the protest result, where the protest involved three boats, was completely unanimous in all respects.
Race management was excellent in many areas; however, the PRO believed he should make all decisions relative to racing without in some cases seeking input from either the jury or the OA. Since we are all a team with the goal of providing the best and fairest racing for the competitors, this is perhaps not the most desirable attitude.
