THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
An interesting hearing was heard under RRS 60.3 1(a) where a sailor was yanked out of his boat by a windward boat's mainsheet wrapped around his face. The injury caused profuse bleeding, the sailor retired and sought medical attention. The protest lodged by the injured sailor was found to be invalid as he had not informed the protestee under RRS 61.1(a)(1) when it became evident that he had had an opportunity to do so. Because the incident had caused obvious injury requiring medical attention the jury decided to hear the protest under RRS 60.3(a)(1).

The race committee did an excellent job over two course areas that were challenged by strong tides and a large number of shipping movements.
