THIS SECTION MAY BE COMPLETED BY ANY JURY MEMBER
Comments on rule questions, new interpretations, problems, unpopular Rule 62 (Redress) decisions, summary of the facts, conclusions and decisions of Rule 69 (Allegations of Gross Misconduct) actions, problems with Sailing Instructions or Notice of Race and experience with experimental procedures.
Many competitors demonstrated the need of being educated to sailing conforming the rule 42 and the appendix P. Before the first racing day a practical demonstration with a simulator has been held by the Jury Chairman, giving the competitors the opportunity to sail in a more consciously way, avoiding the kinetic actions that are forbidden.
The pro fleet has sailed 10 good races in beautiful conditions as well as did the sport fleet. As usual in this season on Lake of Iseo the Race Committee has to establish day by day the course area, in order to start the first race of the day on early morning (in order to sail with the wind from North) or on the afternoon (in order to sail with the wind from South). Everyday has been sailed in compliance with the program of the number of races as well as the first scheduled starting time. Both competitors and families did enjoy the races as well as the location, thanks to the host club able to provide a professional but friendly atmosphere.
