The duties of the Organising Authority were shared between the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and the Bucklands Beach Yacht Club. Team racing was conducted under Appendix Q on three individual courses on the waters of the Hauraki Gulf at Auckland New Zealand. Although the wind was in the light to medium range the race officers were able to accomplish all their scheduled races for their respective divisions. Both Clubs are to be congratulated as the success of the regatta can be attributed to the great deal of time and effort spent by the two clubs to ensure its success. There were no issues of interpretation etc. that required the services of the Jury.
The relationship between the race management Committee and the protest committee was excellent.
