After a race in which a large number of boats were timed out, the time out limit was changed from 20 to 30 minutes. On the last race of the event, the last boat finished at 27 minutes after the first boat finished. The jury used the Jury Decisions App to manage protests and notifications. The system proves simple to use, effective and free.
There were three requests for redress under RRS 62.1(b) without an associated protest. In all cases the boat responsible had retired, and it was established that a rule of part 2 had clearly been broken and that the damaged boats could not reasonably have avoided contact. - NEDND10
