Six days before the event, the local health authorities required a mandatory covid-19 test for all boats having 8 or more crew members, and for all foreigners crew members. The organizing authority was able to offer free tests to all those who needed one, and managed an complicated booking system with an extremely short notice (given the number of participants). Anyhow, the race was abandoned due to the extremely adverse weather conditions (heavy rains, wind at 35knots gusting at 50+knots) - ITAGD15
