The event was combined with the in harbor races and the offshore race. The offshore race is a two session no stop round the Hainan Island race. The first session is from Sanya to Haikou (without get ashore). All the boats finished at Haikou wait on the water off Haikou City. Then they start again from Haikou to Sanya. Only 5 boat completed the round island offshore race. Others finished a shorten course at mark 1, some at mark 2. Almost half of the boats retired from the offshore race due to the strong wind and heave sea 4 hours aftet the start from Sanya. - CHNCQ1
