The event was held in the suitable closed harbor in the center of La Rochelle and was perfectly organized and managed. It started with an offshore race on the 1st night, finishing on day 2. It was followed by 2 windward-leeward courses on day 3, after a long wait of the wind.
Unfortunately, the event was interrupted before the last 2 days because of the heatwave (the French gvt prevented any sport event because of the temperatures).
The championship was nevertheless valid, thanks to the efforts of the RC on day 3. - FRASH1
