The sailing events of the XIX Bolivarian Games were held in the Tomine reservoir, 2580 meters above sea level. A very nice facility where many local club members made a great effort to bring the sailing event to reality. The races were run in difficult light conditions with many shifts and low winds coming from different sectors. The race officials did a good job adapting their skills to fullfilled the task. The jury stay on the water applying rule 42 for 30 hours plus 12 hours in the jury room. 8 races for each class were schedule, being able to complete 56 races. - PERJB1
