During the week the average wind speed was never below 20kn, gusting up to 33kn, due to the relativ shallow water in Corpus Christi Bay all competitors and officials had to deal with real choppy waves. All races were started with black flag. Housing and subsistancy for all officials provided by the OA was excellent. Absolutely fair competition, a daily skippers´briefing held by the PRO and the Chiefjudge solved many problems before they could appear. - GERWG4
