A boat sailing to the racing area to race had contact with one of several boats on a tow line from her support boat, resulting in a 30 cm hole in the towed boat. IRPCAS and the Preamble to Part 2 applied, resulting in a penalty to the boat sailing, and redress to the boat under tow who could not sail in the day’s races.
Allegations of misconduct were upheld against two support people in separate hearings under rule 69.
