The South American Games was the first regional sailing event in Paraguay, 4 olympic classes and three panamerican classes. The RC was unable to complete the schedule of the iQfoils men and women due to adverse conditions. The courses were in the Parana river with strong current and light winds. The OA did an excellent job considering that the sailing venue was at a distance of 360 kms. from the main venue, the city of Asunción. Three excelent ribs were provided for the Jury. World Sailing appointed an International Jury of 6 judges, one of them left the event at the very beginning. - PERJB1
