It was the revalval of HKRW after 4 years of suspension due to COVID-19. Not only the OA delighted with the reinstatement of the event but the competitors as well indicated the delight by as many as 219 entries from 12 contries. In addition, the OA, RHKYC, suffered from a severe damage by a devastating typhoon a few years ago and lost a number of resources. But they managed this big event quite well with their enthusiasm. - JPNMT6
After the IJ left the venue, another request of redress had been lodged in the hearing management system (Racing Rules of Sailing) late at night (3 hours after all time limits such as re-opening or request redress). The OA appointed a new International Jury. 4 of 5 members were from original International Jury and the case had been heard on next Thursday on ZOOM. Decision was request invalid due to the time limit and IJ did not find good reason to extend. A lesson is the system should have been switched off reasonably after the closure of the event. - JPNMT6
