This was 14th CCOR event with keelboats racing and Radio Controlled sailing but the jury had no time to cover Radio Controlled sailing. For keelboats racing, there was on-the-water umpiring but if the umpire showed flags, it was only advisory.
On-the-water job was excellent with no mishap at all. There was no wind on the first day but on the last 3 days the wind was very good. As always, the CHN OA provides good jury boats, good jury room & equipment, good food and excellent accommodation.
Many protests ended up invalid because they did not carried the red flag until they finished. They for sure had their lesson learned for their future events.
There were high cash prizes for winners that for sure will attract more competitors to the future events. - THARS2
