This was the first time that coaches have attended the championship in significant numbers, which was not popular with all sailors. The sailing instructions will need to be more precise on the participation of them on the race course.
The race committee did exceptionally well on getting 115+ boats off each starting line in conditions that were with very little wind and the other extreme with almost too much. Better guidance needs to be provided for the race team on how and where to measure these limits. I understand that this is to be done.
