Rule 44.1 was changed so that the Two-Turns Penalty was replaced by the One-Turn Penalty. Appendix P applied during the event.
Rule 61.1(a)(2) was changed: need to display Red flag despite the length of the boat (5.50m) (Class Rules recommendation).
We incorporate in the S.I. an article for support boat (asked by the Micro Class):
From the time it leaves the dock where it is moored and until the boat has finished the last race of the day, support boats must have no contact with a boat registered to the regatta any kind including:
(i) A signal visual of any kind (eg tactical placement, use of the flag and or different colored clothes) while the boats are racing,
(ii) The transfer of crew, equipment or supply without permission from the race committee.
We had a question from coach to precise the word "contact".
The answer of the Jury was: Contact means all physical and boat to boat contact, (including towing and the provisions of SI 23.2(i) and (ii)), and all verbal and visual communication, except that verbal communication while not racing will not be penalized.
